How to request deletion
You can permanently delete your In & Out Calories account and its data at any time. In the app: open the Profile screen, tap "Account & Data Ownership", then tap "Delete Account & All Data" and confirm. Your account and all associated records are deleted immediately and the action is irreversible. By email: if you can no longer access the app, email support@inandoutcalories.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and complete it within 30 days.
Deleting some of your data without closing your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. In the app, open the Profile screen and tap "Account & Data Ownership", then tap "Reset Health Data". This permanently wipes your logged meals/nutrition history and your workout history from our servers while keeping your account active so you can keep using the app. If you'd like a different subset of your data removed, email support@inandoutcalories.com from your registered email address describing what you'd like deleted, and we will action it within 30 days.
What data is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all personal data we hold for you, including: Your profile and account details (email, display name, hashed password, height, weight, age, date of birth, gender). Your nutrition logs (meals, food items, portions, and calorie values). Your workout history (programs, routines, sessions, sets, and active calories burned). Your weight history and weigh-in entries. Your AI Coach conversations, achievements, and reminder settings. Your authentication tokens are revoked at the same time. Progress photos are stored only on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers — they are removed when you delete the app or clear its data.
What data is kept, and for how long
Subscription and transaction records may be retained where we are legally required to keep them (for example, for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes). Billing itself is handled by Apple or Google; we hold only a subscription-status indicator and no payment card details. Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer be used to identify you may be retained. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.
